Viktor Krauss, a Champaign, Illinois native, is a renowned performer, arranger, producer and composer.  After studying bass, voice, and compositional theory at the University of Illinois, he has recorded or toured with Lyle Lovett, Bill Frisell, Jerry Douglas, Omar Hakim, Larry Carlton, Shelby Lynne, Carly Simon, Elvis Costello, John Fogerty, Emmylou Harris, Graham Nash, Shawn Colvin, Steve Jordan, Jewel, The Chieftains, and Chet Atkins.  His film credits include compositions in Ken Burns’ “Baseball: The Tenth Inning”, Robert Altman’s “Dr. T. and His Women”, and “Dodge City.”  He has headline many studio recordings, including his own “Far from Enough” in 2004 and “II” in 2007.
